"Constelaciones" is a multidisciplinary art project formed by several series of art-works based on the study of point and line as independent basic elements and their interconnection.
It all started in March 2009 with the installation-performance: Constelaciones en el Lisboa. At that point I didn't know where I was getting into ... 21 days of continuous action became such an inspiring experience that since then I just cannot help it, I just want to constellate.
From that moment it has not stop growing and branching into different subprojects that involve: painting, drawing, installation, video, dance, music and performance.
Each place is a new challenge, hard work, low budget but I am very glad I could involve so many great artists. They participated documenting the work, performing, providing materials, work space ... supporting my "unusual" approach. They believed in me and my work and collaborated in the process. I am very thankful.
This project is helping me to deepen and understand the real meaning of interconnection beyond form and matter, manifesting that behind the apparent chaos it prevails an absolute order. The net becomes a metaphor of interdependence between all the elements that coexist and interrelate with each other. Preconceived absolute dimensions become relative and consequently macro and micro structure superpose. When I look at it I see myself and everything else represented.
"Constelaciones" is a universal concept that belongs to ALL.
